Product Description
Dual wall adhesive lined heatshrink tubing is ideal for producing strong, weather tight seals on any heatshrink installation. It is called dual wall because it is actually made up of two different materials together. One wall - the outer wall - is Polyolefin heat shrink. The second wall (hence the name "dual wall") - the inner wall - is a hot melt adhesive. During the application of heat from a heat gun or other hot air tool, the inner adhesive wall melts and flows, creating an adhesion layer to ensure a snug fit to your harness or connector.
Features
3:1 Shrink Ratio with melt adhesive inner lining (shrinks to 1/3 its original diameter)
Up to 15% longitudinal shrinkage
Maximum use temperature 135°C
Shrink Temperature of 90°C and operating temperature of -55°C to + 110°C
Typical applications include: Insulation, Wire Identification, Wire Bundling, Mechanical Protection, Color Coding, Lightweight Harnessing, Physical/Electrical Protection of Components, Strain Relief, and Solder Insulation.
Colors available: Black, Red, Clear, White, Blue, Green, and Yellow
