Product Description
During cold deformation, the plasticity is medium, and the machinability and weldability are acceptable, but the parts shall be preheated to more than 200 ºC before welding. The properties of wire drawing, cold heading and heat treatment processes are good, and the hardenability is high. The critical quenching diameter in oil is 6.5~18mm, and the quenching deformation is small, but there are overheating, decarburization sensitivity and temper brittleness. After quenching and tempering, the steel has high strength, toughness and wear resistance, as well as good static strength and fatigue strength. After quenching and tempering, it is used for small section fasteners, gearbox gears, shafts, cold heading bolts, and carburized parts with high requirements for central strength.
