It's a kind of most widely used high carbon structural steel with low alloy content and good performance. It has high hardenability and good comprehensive performance, good machinability after spheroidizing annealing, high hardness, uniform organization, good wear resistance, high contact fatigue performance after quenching and tempering, and UT 1.3505/SUJ2/GCr15 carbon structural steel is also excellent hot working performance.
Application
For making all kinds of bearing ring and rolling element. For example: steel ball, roller and ring which are used for production of internal combustion engines, electric locomotives, automobiles, tractors, machine tools, rolling mills, drilling machines, mining machinery, general machinery and high-speed rotating high-load mechanical transmission bearings. Apart from making bearing ring and rolling element, UT 1.3505/SUJ2/GCr15 carbon structural steel can also be used to make tools like punch, measuring tools, etc.
