Product Description
The hot-dip galvanized pipe reacts the molten metal with the iron substrate to produce an alloy layer, so that the substrate and the coating are combined. Hot-dip galvanizing is to pickle the steel pipe first. In order to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel pipe, after pickling, it is cleaned by ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or a mixed aqueous solution of ammonium chloride and zinc chloride, and then sent to hot-dip coating tank. Hot-dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life. Most of the processes in the north adopt the galvanized strip direct rolling pipe zinc supplement process.Galvanized steel tube is easy to weld, cut, form and machine. The galvanized coating also allows for improved corrosion resistance over other types of carbon steels. In addition, galvanized tubes are a lower cost alternative to steel to achieve rust free protection for up to 30 years, while maintaining comparable strength with a durable surface coating.
